CenturyLink subscribers report widespread internet outage across the U.S.

 


People across the United States are reporting outages of CenturyLink internet.

About 3,600 CenturyLink subscribers have reported problems as of the time of writing, according to DownDetector.com. Out of the reports, 97% were related to internet services, with the most reported locations including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, Portland, and Miami.

RMS Titanic wreck was Located Today in 1985

 Its been exactly 34 years since the wreck of Ship Titanic, the British luxury liner was located after she had collided with an iceberg and sank into the sea, claiming thousands of lives and hundred thousands of ship supply in April 1912, about 108 years ago. It was located by a joint U.S. / French expedition led by Jean-Louis Michel of IFREMER and Robert Ballard of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution about 400 miles east of Newfoundland in the North Atlantic.   26 soldiers were charged with criminal offenses, but only Lieutenant William Calley Jr., a platoon leader in C Company, was convicted on this day in 1969. In March 16th 1968, a war crime which is known recently as "the most shocking episode of the Vietnam War" and "one of the largest publicized massacres of civilians by U.S. forces in the 20th century", took place in two hamlets of Sơn Mỹ village in Quảng Ngãi Province. Perpetrators included the U.S. Army soldiers from Company C, 1st Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment and Company B, 4th Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, 11th Brigade, 23rd (Americal) Infantry Division. The incident prompted global outrage when it became public knowledge in November 1969 as an estimated 347-504 lives were lost, including the lives of women children and infants.
