i. Alphonso Davies was born on the 2nd day of the month of November 2000 to his mother, victoria Davies and father, Debeah Davies.

ii. He was born at the popular Buduburam refugee camp in Ghana.

iii. Davies is the first child and son of three children born to victoria and Debeah

iv. His parents are originally Liberian nationals but had fled from Liberia (the West African country) in 1999, after the 2nd Liberian civil war broke out.

v. Alponso Davies had spent 4 years growing up at the refugee camp before his family embraced a migration offer to Canada as part of a resettlement program at the time he was 5 years old.
